UM Emergency patch and mirrors synchronized

Update Manager emergency patch
I just uploaded an emergency patch for the update manager (version 2.1.0).
This version should prevent auto selection from happening with debconf menus (those blue menus) that need user input: choice menus, and text input menus.

All mirrors are now synchronized
NLD: http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/solydxk
AUS: http://mirror.internode.on.net/pub/solydxk

Setting mirror to NLUUG in update manager results in invalid sources.list, containing ‘production’ line twice and no line for ‘production/multimedia’ (resulting in errors when apt-get update is executed).

Also the second ‘production’ line (which is assumed to be for ‘production/multimedia’) has no ‘main’ (only testing and non-free)

  2. Living in The Netherlands, I switched to the NLUUG mirrors with the Update Manager before I blogged the news. UM did what was expected. So, if you have issues, please open a topic at our forum so that we can recreate the issue: http://forums.solydxk.com

    This is my sources.list:
deb http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/solydxk/packages/production/ solydxk main upstream import kdenext
deb http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/solydxk/debian/production testing main contrib non-free
    deb http://ftp.nluug.nl/os/Linux/distr/solydxk/debian/production/multimedia testing main non-free
    deb http://debian.solydxk.com/security testing/updates main contrib non-free
    deb http://community.solydxk.com/production/ solydxk main

  3. Thanks for the sources.list. I’m a new user, probably done something wrong. The update now installed perfectly 🙂
